Friday turned out to be the hottest day of this monsoon season in Hyderabad as the city recorded a temperature of around 35°C to 37°C and parts of South East Telangana recorded temps of 38°C to 39°C.

The highest maximum temperature of 38.9°C was recorded at Mellachervu Road (Suryapet) on August 31, while the lowest minimum temperature of 19.50°C was recorded at Malchelma (Sangareddy) on August 27.

The Forecast for the week from September 2 to 8 says that there will be light to moderate rain/thundershowers expected at some places till Saturday. After that light to moderate rain/thundershowers are expected at many places and isolated heavy rain during the remaining days of the week.

The maximum temperatures are expected to range from 34°C to 37oC, while the minimum temperatures will be between 24°C to 27°C.
