Actress-singer Shruti Haasan has been working continuously at break neck speed on her various acting projects, all of which will hit the silver screens next year. Shruti, who is currently In Greece shooting for her International film ‘The Eye’, will soon start work on her Telegu projects even as she gears up for the release of two of her film in January. Both big ticket flims, ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ with Nandamuri Balakrishna and ‘Waltair Veeraya’ with Chiranjeevi are slated to release on the back to back days, 11th (Waltair Veeraya) and 12th (Veera Simha Reddy) January, 2023.
The news has Shruti’s fans extremely excited as both the movies promise to be out and out entertainers, making it a perfect new year gift for them. Both films will release during the Sankranthi period in January which will be followed by the actress’s Salaar opposite Prabhas and The Eye, which will release later in the year.
Commenting on her experience while shooting for Veera Simha Reddy, Waltair Veeraya and Salaar “I am literally doing one schedule here and then jumping into the next one. So it’s been quite hectic but I am really thankful to be working on such amazing characters. Each of the characters are so different, so there is definitely a mental switch that I have to kind of prep for. I think this has been the maximum mental prep I’ve done because I think earlier in my career I remember I was doing seven films at the same time, maybe my mindset was different then, and my approach to acting was different, and I was like ‘Yea, I can handle it’. But now I am like, ‘No, I need to like mentally prep for it.”
On Music front, Shruti recently released her single ‘She Is A Hero’ and will be also releasing more independent tracks in coming year.
