On the 22nd day of the Samajika Sadhikara bus yatra, YSRCP leaders, representing the BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities, gathered in Etcherla constituency of Srikakulam district (North Zone) and Tadipatri constituency in Anantapur district (South Zone) to highlight the substantial progress made by the party in promoting social and political empowerment among backward communities under the leadership of CM Jagan.
Addressing an enthusiastic crowd in Etcherla, Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao underscored the impressive infrastructure development leading to a surge in the real estate sector in Andhra Pradesh. Emphasising the positive impact of CM Jagan’s governance, he remarked, “Vishakapatnam and Vizianagaram are emerging as new beacons of infrastructure development in Uttarandhra. CM Jagan’s governance and policies have positioned Uttarandhra as the next industrial hub, garnering widespread attention.” Criticising TDP chief Naidu for neglecting Vizag, he added, “Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to build Amaravati, despite the central government’s proposal on the capital, reflects a certain high-handedness, indicative of his preference for a select group of capitalist cronies.”
Deputy CM Peedika Rajannadora delivered an impassioned speech, urging people to unite in support of the Samajika Sadhikara Yatra. He stated, “During the TDP’s regime, tribals were denied ministerial positions. CM Jagan has honoured them by appointing a Deputy Chief Minister from the tribal community. While Chandrababu Naidu set the pension eligibility at 65 years, CM Jagan lowered it to 60 years, ensuring more beneficiaries. Unlike Naidu’s restrictions on pension for those with five acres of land, CM Jagan extended benefits without such limitations, a testament to Jagan’s humane approach.”
Minister Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao, speaking at the Tadipatri event (South Zone), commended CM Jagan’s transformative initiatives in the education sector. He stated, “CM Jagan has taken a revolutionary step by making English education accessible to underprivileged children. Government schools now compete with private counterparts. Under Nadu-Nedu, the entire school infrastructure has received a facelift, facilitating increased enrollment of economically disadvantaged students. In the past four years alone, approximately Rs 7,112 crores have been dedicated to renovate nearly 85% of all government schools, signaling a substantial investment in human capital and the building of a formidable future.”
MP Nandigam Suresh stressed the importance of Jagan Mohan Reddy continuing as the Chief Minister of the state. He said, “For the improvement of our education and medical sectors, for the well-being of our agriculture and farmers, we need Jagananna. He stands as the only leader who understands the struggles of the poor while prioritizing development and investment in human capital. CM Jagan’s leadership is indispensable for the holistic development of our state. We must unite to ensure a resounding victory for YSRCP in the upcoming polls.”
