Senior BRS leader Dasoju Sravan lashed out at TPCC chief Revanth Reddy and the Congress for carrying out a malicious campaign against Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao before the counting of votes.
Squashing exit polls as paid and manipulated, Dr Dasoju said that he was confident that the BRS would return to power a third time as the bond between the Telangana people and KCR is eternal.
“Not even 48 hours have passed after voting and the counting of votes is not over, but Congress leaders are showing their true colours. Citing paid and manipulated exit polls, Revanth and his colleagues are roaming in a fool’s paradise. Revanth and his team is deriving sadistic pleasure by spreading malicious messages and posts on social media and the media against the KCR government. It is disgusting that Revanth is spreading stories like KCR is getting ready to vacate Pragathi Bhavan, the BRS government is trying to pay bills of Rs 6,000 crore to contractors out of turn and others. This shows how disoriented Congress leaders are,” Dr Dasoju said speaking at the Telangana Bhavan on Saturday.
“KCR has not just achieved Telangana but he has completely transformed it into one of the most progressive, developed states from being a neglected, backward state. If we remove the first two years after the formation of TS which were dedicated for the settling in of the new state, and two years after the Corona pandemic, only five and a half years were available for KCR. In this short period, KCR has totally changed the face of Telangana with accelerated development, good governance and social welfare measures. The people of Telangana will ensure that KCR is elected a third time with a comfortable majority. Ignoring this, Congress leaders are already building castles in the air and fighting for the CM’s post. Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shiva Kumar also went to the extent of saying that KCR is in touch with Congress MLA probables,” mocked Dr Sravan, after coming down heavily on the excesses of Telangana’s Congress leaders.
He also criticised senior Telangana Congress leaders for filing a complaint with the Election Commission containing baseless allegations against the BRS government.
“It is extremely unfortunate that the Congress has complained to the ECI and had met Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj alleging that the BRS government is diverting Rythu Bandhu funds to contractors and changing the records of assigned lands in the Dharani portal in favour of the CM’s family. This is an extremely atrocious complaint. This is not just maligning KCR but humiliating bureaucrats and all other government officials. What’s shocking is, besides the reckless Revanth Reddy, even senior leaders with administrative experience like Uttam Kumar Reddy were part of the delegation that met CEO Vikas Raj. How can KCR take these decisions when the Model Code of Conduct is in force? Congress leaders are making fools out of themselves with their immature acts,” Dr Sravan said stressing that Telangana Congress leaders have been completely undermining democratic traditions.
Commenting on the cabinet meeting called for by KCR on Dec 4, Dr Dasoju Sravan explained that it is a regular tradition for the Chief Minister to convene Cabinet meetings before dissolving and there is nothing wrong in it. Dr Dasoju signed off expressing confidence that KCR will return a third time to continue good governance and fulfil all promises.
