VIT-AP University organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Government General Hospital (GGH) Guntur on Friday. On the occasion of the 85th birth anniversary of VIT Founder and Chancellor, Dr G Viswanathan, VIT-AP University organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with Government General Hospital (GGH) Guntur in which 483 students, faculty, and staff donated blood for the patients of GGH Guntur.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Y Kiran Kumar, Superintendent, of Government General Hospital (GGH) Guntur said that blood donation is a selfless act that can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need.
Dr SV Kota Reddy, Vice Chancellor of VIT-AP University, stressed the importance of blood donation in saving numerous lives. VIT-AP Blood donation can save many poor patients’ lives in GGH-Guntur, he said.
Dr SV Kota Reddy, VC, and Dr Jagadish Chandra Mudiganti, Registrar of VIT-AP University distributed the bags, and geometry boxes to the poor students in government schools in Inavolu, Sakhamuru, Velagapudi.
