Kendra Sahitya Akademi’s ‘Kavisandhi’ programme held

Renowned poet Khader Mohiuddin recited his poetry in a program ‘Kavi Sandhi’ organised by Kendra Sahitya Akademi at Balotsav Bhavan, Vijayawada on Saturday.
Khader Mohiuddin, who is well-known for his poetry collection, a ‘Puttu Macha’ (Birthmark) poet, has recited his poems written on the mentality of a torn common man at the time of the division of the country and between rural and urban areas. Later, the attendees asked some questions related to his poetry and poetry including how he defines timeless poetry and why he didn’t write poetry on Muslim Feminism to the poet Qader Mohiuddin and he answered them in his way.
Answering some questions from the audience Khader said that he has already written what he has to say in his poetry and that he is passionate about text and can expect a novel from him soon.
Members of Kendra Sahitya Akademi organised this programme. Eminent poets, writers and critics including Lakshmi Narasaiah, Gumma Sambasiva Rao, Ambati Surendra Raju, Bandla Madhava Rao, Anil Dani, Voraprasad, Shanti Sri and other literary personalities attended the programme.
