TDP, Jana Sena differ on seat-sharing in AP

Must read

It appears that headache is certain in the seats-sharing between the TDP and the Jana Sena in the coming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. While the TDP wants to give 25 seats to the Jana Sena, the latter is demanding at least 50 seats out of the total 175 seats.
After TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh comments on Chief Minister’s post and the number of seats to be given to Jana Sena, the Jana Sena leaders are exerting pressure on
Pawan Kalyan in getting more seats as a part of seats adjustment with the TDP. Nara Lokesh categorically said that if the TDP and Jana Sena alliance comes to power, Chandrababu Naidu will be the Chief Minister for five years. He also said that the Jana Sena will be given 25 seats and the TDP will contest in the remaining 150 seats.
But Pawan Kalyan feels that both the parties have to make sacrifices in the seats sharing. He feels that it is not correct that only one party should sacrifice. The TDP feels that the Jana Sena has no strength in more than 25 constituencies. They are telling that the strength of Jana Sena was seen in the recent Telangana Assembly elections. In Andhra Pradesh also the position of Jana Sena is the same.
