‘India should be proud of Jyotirao Phule’

Floral tributes were paid to Mahatma Jyotirao Phule at the YSRCP State central office on his birth anniversary on Thursday. Chief Whip Lella Appireddy, along with APCO Chairman Ganji Chiranjeevi Navaratnalu Committee Vice Chairman Narayana Murthy, Vishwa Brahmana Corporation Chairman Toleti Srikanth, Salivahana Kummara Corporation Chairman Purushotam, official representative of the party Kakumanu Rajasekhar and others participated in the programme and praised the services rendered by Phule for the uplift of the weaker sections.
Speaking on this occasion, Lella Appireddy said that Jyotirao Phule is a person India should be proud of. He said that the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is following Phule’s ambitions. Jyotirao Phule’s policies can be implemented only if Jagan Mohan Reddy is the Chief Minister of AP again.
Phule was a fighter who supported the development of BCs, said.
Lella Appireddy said CM Jagan has given 100 seats to BC, SC, ST and minorities out of 200 MP and MLA seats during the 2024 elections. Jagan says that social empowerment is not limited to just statements but implemented. More than 56 BC Corporations were established for the development of 139 BC castes by providing welfare schemes to these communities by the YSRCP. He said that CM Jagan is the leader who introduced English medium for the children of the poor studying in government schools and has modernised the schools across the State. The YSRCP government has revamped the hospitals, spending thousands of crores. He expressed hope that the YSRCP will win all 175 MLA seats and 25 MP seats.
