SHE Teams nab 120 for eve-teasing in 15 days 

Rachakonda Women Safety Wing, under the auspices of SHE Teams, conducted counseling for eve-teasers at Rachakonda camp office on Wednesday. Rachakonda Women Safety Wing DCP T Usha Vishwanath said that about 142 complaints were received from April 1 to 15.
Rachakonda CP Dr Tarun Joshi said that Rachakonda SHE Teams will not let go of the hooligans who harass girls and women. The officials are going around bus stands, railway stations, Metro stations, schools, colleges, vegetable markets and public places in mufti and carrying out decoy operations.
SHE Teams arrested 120 people (majors-76, minors-44) who were harassing women and young girls in Rachakonda Commissionerate. Counselling was conducted for them at LB Nagar CP Camp office in the presence of counsellors and the family members of the accused.
The DCP said that the investigation has been completed after taking up an inquiry on the complaints.
Among the complaints received, 13 are harassment through phones, 34 are harassment through social media apps and 95 from direct harrassment. Also, 19 are criminal cases and 65 are petty cases. In all, 43 people were counselled on Wednesday.
