State general secretary of YSRCP, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has lashed out at TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for obstructing developmental initiatives.
Addressing an election rally, Sajjala affirmed that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the sole torchbearer of YSRCP’s ideals. “I am not here to deliver a speech; rather, I am here to carry forward the vision of our leader, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, to every doorstep,” proclaimed Sajjala, emphasising the grassroots outreach of their message.
Describing the upcoming 2024 general elections as a battle between the haves and have-nots, Sajjala reiterated the commitment of YSRCP towards inclusive governance.
“Late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy laid the groundwork for transformative reforms within his constraints, while CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is steadfast in realising Rajasekhar Reddy’s aspirations to ensure the last mile delivery of welfare measures,” Sajjala remarked, highlighting the government’s focus on empowering the underprivileged.
Sajjala accused Naidu of appropriating the incumbent government’s achievements and deceiving the people for political mileage. He assured continuous engagement with the people of the State, expressing optimism for a progressive future.
Drawing attention to the intensified electoral contest in the Vijayawada-West constituency, Sajjala contrasted the candidates’ backgrounds, portraying a battle between integrity and affluence. “The outcome in this constituency will be etched in memory,” he asserted.
Censuring Chandrababu Naidu for exacerbating the plight of senior citizens and pensioners, Sajjala condemned the opposition’s callous manoeuvres for electoral advantage. He accused Naidu of placing obstacles to the implementation of crucial welfare schemes, jeopardising the welfare of beneficiaries.
Alleging that Chandrababu Naidu derived sadistic pleasure from inflicting suffering upon the populace, Sajjala urged voters to rebuke such tactics in the upcoming elections. “The people must teach a fitting lesson to the opportunistic alliance,” he declared.
Moreover, Sajjala denounced the Opposition’s propagation of misinformation regarding the Land Titling Act, underscoring CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s commitment to secure land rights for the populace. “Chandrababu’s deceitful tactics have eroded public trust,” Sajjala concluded.
