Former minister said that MLC K Kavitha was arrested because Bharat Rashtra Samithi refused to bow before the saffron party
Only BRS can fight against the BJP. Giving a vote to the Congress would mean benefiting the BJP, said former minister and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao here on Thursday.
Addressing minorities’ meeting here, Harish Rao said the BRS is committed to the welfare of Muslim minorities and even pointed out that KCR launched 204 residential schools to benefit children of minorities.
MLC Kalwakuntla Kavita was implicated in Delhi excise case because the BRS refused to bow before the BJP. Had the BRS joined hands with the BJP, Kavita would not have been arrested at all, he said.
He alleged that Revanth Reddy joined hands with the BJP to finish off the BRS. After the Lok Sabha elections, no BJP or Congress leader would ever remain accessible to the people, he said. Only BRS leaders will remain accessible to the people, he said.
Harish Rao sought to know why the Congress is not fulfilling e six guarantees even four months after coming to power. With the advent of Congress to power, KCR kit vanished and Shadi Mubarak was suspended. There was no trace of one tola of gold promised to be given to beneficiaries of the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak beneficiaries.
The Congress administration is running in reverse gear, he said accusing the Congress of making only empty promises but not benefiting the moniroties by at least Re 1. He reminded the gathering that the BRS regime allocated Rs 4,000 crore during the current year’s budget for the welfare of the minorities.
