Heavy rain, gales hamper polling arrangements

Heavy rain accompanied by gales hampered the polling arrangements in Pulivendula on Sunday.
A large number of government staff gathered on the JNTU campus to collect their polling equipment including EVMs. Heavy rain accompanied by gales uprooted the tent.
The government staff rushed to safety. However, sometime later they were shifted to their respective polling stations along with the polling equipment in RTC buses.
