TDP politburo member Varla Ramaiah has appealed to everyone to exercise their franchise, highlighting the significance of voting rights in changing the course of development in the State. Speaking from the TDP National Office in Mangalagiri, Varla Ramaiah emphasised that the State’s future lies in the voters’ hands, and encouraged them to cast their votes without fear, regardless of the weather conditions.
“In the last election, only 40 per cent polling was recorded in urban areas like Hyderabad and Bengaluru. To ensure that the State progresses towards a better future, both urban and rural residents should actively participate in voting to contribute to development. Voters should aim for a turnout of over 90 per cent. It’s crucial to vote primarily between 7 AM and 11 AM. Some individuals may attempt fraudulent activities using bogus photos; voters should remain vigilant and exercise their rights by casting their votes personally at the booth. If anyone tries to vote on your behalf, assert your rights by demanding a challenge vote,” Varla Ramaiah stated.
He penned a letter to the CEO, complaining against the corrupt practices by YSRCP in Tirupati Assembly constituency. He attached a video that purportedly shows union leaders being coerced into taking an oath at the Korlagunta Anjaneyaswamy Temple, stating that all their family members and union members will be forced to vote for YSRCP even by subjecting them to physical force.
