Mass Ka Das Vishwaksen is experimenting with a new genre once again with his latest venture, Laila, produced by Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens. We say experimenting because he portrays both a man and a woman. Known for his diverse film choices, Vishwaksen takes on the role of Laila in this romantic action entertainer, penned by Ram Narayan, promising a character portrayal like never before. Embracing such a challenging role requires immense courage and preparation, both physically and mentally.
On Wednesday, the makers unveiled the mesmerising eye look of Laila, portrayed by Vishwaksen with captivating charm. The transformation is striking, with Vishwaksen perfectly embodying the feminine grace of Laila. His expressive eyes convey the depth and suitability of his portrayal. The enchanting gaze of Laila convincingly brings out the essence of the female character, leaving audiences eager to see Vishwaksen’s complete transformation into Laila.
The film commenced its journey with a ceremonial pooja. Renowned director Raghavendra Rao clapped the board for the inaugural shot, while director Harish Shanker initiated the camera roll. Producers Venkata Satish Kilaru and Gemini Kiran handed over the script to the production team.
Making her debut as the female lead opposite Vishwaksen, Akanksha Sharma will contribute to the film’s high technical and production standards. Laila boasts a talented crew, including writer Vasudeva Murthy, cinematographer Richard Prasad, music composers Tanishk Bagchi and Ghibran, editor Anwar Ali, and art director Brahma Kadali.
The makers have announced that Laila will hit theaters on February 14th, coinciding with Valentine’s Day, promising an unforgettable cinematic experience.
