From minister to ‘Pappu’ in Oppn’s playbook

The Opposition seems to be on a mission to paint KTR as a “Pappu.” What’s amusing is that KTR is in on the joke and mentioned in a recent chit chat that he’s proven his mettle as a minister. He joked that they were trying to make him look like a dimwit. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy keeps saying, “Don’t take KTR seriously — he’s not exactly a brainy chap, more like management quota material.” KTR’s quick comebacks are his way of firing back, but it’s not a new tactic. The BJP kicked off this trend a couple of years ago, dubbing him Twitter Tillu. While Twitter Tillu was a social media hit, it didn’t exactly keep the momentum going.
