Encroachments demolished in Ameenpur

The revenue department on Tuesday demolished illegal constructions and demarcated stones at Ilapur Tanda under Ameenpur revenue office, Sangareddy district.
Ameenpur Tahasildhar Radha said that the officials received the information last week that the encroachers are occupying government land. “On that information we are removing the demarcated stones there.”
The Tahasildhar said that around 20 acres of government land has been encroached. “We are demolishing the structures in it.  As of now, we do not know who tried to occupy this land. However, we do not know who tried to encroach the land but we have filed a petition with the police,” the Tahasildar added.
A private school encroached on the land of 15 guntas. The revenue department demolished the sports ground, room and other walls of the private school with two bulldozers.
Along with that, the revenue department had removed demarcated stones in government lands.  The police official said that 70 police officers arranged the necessary security at the spot.
