Energy Minister opens33/11 KV sub-station

Minister for Energy Gottipati Ravikumar inaugurated the newly constructed 33/11 KV Electrical sub-station at RL Puram in Chimakurthy mandal on Thursday.
The Minister, accompanied by Santhanuthalapadu MLA BN Vijay Kumar visited some of the areas in RL Puram panchayati and participated in some programmes. Addressing the gathering on the occasion,  the Minister promised that the problem of power shortage in the industries in the surrounding areas of Chimakurti would be resolved soon.
He observed that the government is taking steps towards providing quality electricity even in the villages. As a part of this, new electricity sub-stations are being set up to supply quality electricity to the public.
Responding to the opposition YSRCP leaders’ questions on the achievements of the new government in the 100 days rule, Minister for Energy Ravi Kumar acknowledged that the social security pension was hiked from Rs 3000 to Rs 4000, Mega DSC was announced to fill up teacher posts.
The free gas cylinder scheme would be implemented from Deepavali, he announced. He reiterated that development and welfare are the two eyes of the government and give priority to the segments.  “The Naidu-headed new government had abolished the controversial ‘Land Titling Act. The government has tackled the flood devastation efficiently,” he highlighted.
