JSP stages protest in front of Nani’s house

Must read

After former minister and YSRCP senior leader Perni Venkatramaiah, also known as Nani, made controversial comments about Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development K Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday, Jana Sena Party (JSP) leaders and supporters staged a protest in front of Nani’s house in Machilipatnam on Thursday.
This was the second consecutive protest by JSP at Nani’s house after the attack on his vehicle in Gudivada on September 1. The JSP leaders and supporters chanted slogans against Nani and demanded an apology. Meanwhile, YSRCP staged a counter-protest. The situation turned tense, leading to the arrest of JSP leaders and supporters by the police.
Upon learning about the JSP protest, the police rushed to Perni Nani’s house. YSRCP leaders and party workers also gathered at Nani’s house, and both parties raised slogans against each other, creating a tense atmosphere. Nani’s son Perni Krishna Murthy and other leaders attempted to come outside the house to argue with the JSP leaders, but the police prevented them from doing so.
Meanwhile, Perni Nani, while talking to reporters, said that he is not afraid of Pawan Kalyan’s threats. He alleged that Pawan has no substance and that he is making provocative comments. He warned that if the police remained silent, incidents of violence will occur in Machilipatnam.
