Collector highlights importance of public relations 

The District Collector, Hanumanthu K Zendage, stated that the role of public relations is crucial in giving publicity to state development and welfare schemes to the public.
On Monday, the Collector attended a function to felicitated P Venkateswara Rao, the District Public Relations Officer, who retired from service. The function was organised by the District Gazetted Officers Association.
During the event, the Collector emphasised that public relations play an invaluable role in communicating the development schemes and welfare programs initiated by the government and highlighting their importance. He noted that the District Public Relations Officer P Venkateswara Rao had effectively fulfilled the by coordinating with the district machinery and media. He also remarked that employees play a unique role in the implementation of development and welfare programs, keeping the district at the forefront.
The programme was attended by K Gangadhar, Additional Collector, media representatives, Mandadi Upender Reddy, Treasurer of the State Gazetted Officers Association, Shobharani, Chief Executive Officer of the District Council, Nagireddy, District Rural Development Officer, Jaganmohan Prasad, President of the District Gazetted Officers Association, Srinivas, General Secretary, and various district officials.
