Speed up tenders, acquire land fast for irrigation projects: Uttam

Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, directed irrigation officials to speed up the tender process for pending irrigation projects.
During a review meeting held at the Secretariat on Tuesday, he emphasized the need to accelerate land acquisition for crucial projects, including the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, Sitarama, Dindi, and Devadula projects.
Uttam urged officials to prioritize obtaining administrative approvals for canals like the Bunadigani, Dharmareddy, and Pillayipalli canals. He highlighted the importance of completing these processes swiftly to ensure the smooth progress of ongoing projects.The meeting was attended by Irrigation Advisor Adityadas Nath, Special Secretary Prashant Jeevan Patil, ENC Admin Anil Kumar, ENC O&M Nagender Rao, and another ENC, Hareram.
