Information Technology and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu praised Shadnagar MLA and Chairman of State Public Sector Organisations Veerlapalli Shankar for his commitment and persistence in driving development and welfare initiatives.
During a visit to Shadnagar on Friday, Minister Sridhar Babu met with MLA Veerlapalli Shankar along the national highway bypass in the Rangareddy district.
Shankar extended a warm welcome to Minister Sridhar Babu and honored him with a traditional shawl. The Minister commended Shankar for his active role in public welfare, describing him as a dedicated activist and a respected leader who consistently engages with the community.
Highlighting Shankar’s recent appointment by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy as Chairman of State Public Sector Organizations, Sridhar Babu remarked on the significance of having local legislators like Shankar at the forefront of state development.
Addressing the media, Sridhar Babu said that the Chief Minister’s efforts to support regional development, noting the recent foundation-laying ceremony for the Integrated Young India Residential School in Shadnagar, an ambitious project with a budget of 150 crores. This project, he stated, symbolises the government’s commitment to advancing educational infrastructure in the region. Shankar emphasised that initiatives related to industries and public sector development will also be prioritized under his leadership.
Present at the gathering were several dignitaries, including Town President K. Chennaiah, former Municipal Chairman Vishwam, Councilor Sarwar Pasha, Mandal Party President Krishna Reddy, and other prominent leaders such as Dangu Srinivas Yadav and others.
