MLA Shankar commended for efforts to improve edn system

Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar received accolades from Professor Haragopal for his efforts in developing the Government Junior College and addressing issues in government schools. The professor described the construction of the college as “the first step to success” and urged the MLA to focus on resolving the challenges faced by government schools across the constituency.
Professor Haragopal visited Shadnagar on Thursday to invite MLA Shankar to the 150-year anniversary celebrations of the Farooqnagar Mandal Mogiligidda Village Government High School. He also sought the MLA’s cooperation in inviting Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to the event. During the meeting at the MLA’s camp office, MLA Shankar warmly welcomed Professor Haragopal, felicitating him with a shawl. The two leaders also paid tributes to a former Union Minister on his birth anniversary.
Following their discussions, MLA Shankar took Professor Haragopal to the newly constructed Government Junior College. Speaking on the occasion, the professor commended the MLA for his determination to revive the institution, which has been instrumental in producing many scholars and educated individuals. He advised MLA Shankar to address problems in other government schools across the constituency and assured his full support for efforts to improve the education sector.  Professor Haragopal lauded MLA Shankar for his approach, contrasting him with other politicians who often focus on self-serving goals. He praised the MLA’s dedication to reconstructing the college he had studied in, emphasizing that such initiatives would cement his legacy in the constituency.  In response, MLA Shankar explained that he had conducted review meetings with education officials to assess the condition of schools in the area. He acknowledged that many institutions faced various issues and pledged to address them comprehensively, aiming to elevate government schools to the standard of private institutions.
The MLA also highlighted the decline in the education system during the10-year BRS rule.
The event was attended by several prominent individuals, including Palamuru Praja Vedika Convenor Raghavulu, Market Committee Vice Chairman Mohammad Ali Khan Babar, and other local leaders such as Agunuru Vishwam, Challa Srikanth Reddy, Konkalla Chennaiah, and Syed Qadir.
