Must read

TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao extended warm birthday wishes to Nara Lokesh, the party’s national general secretary and former minister for IT and Panchayati Raj, on behalf of over one crore party members. Speaking at the TDP Central Office on Thursday, he lauded Lokesh’s leadership, dedication to development, and focus on public welfare.
Srinivasa Rao highlighted Lokesh’s pivotal role in advancing Andhra Pradesh’s growth, particularly through his ‘Yuvagalam’ padayatra, which has strengthened his connection with the youth and boosted the party’s membership.
He credited Lokesh with restoring hope among the people and contrasted his efforts with the alleged misgovernance of the YSRCP, which he said had driven away investors and damaged the state’s image.
The TDP leader also underscored Lokesh’s commitment to protecting the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, noting that the party-led coalition had secured a financial package of Rs 11,440 crore for its revival. He reiterated the coalition’s focus on safeguarding key assets and creating opportunities for the youth.
In light of the YSRCP’s alleged attempts to create rifts among coalition partners, Srinivasa Rao called on TDP members to remain united, prioritise development, and work towards a prosperous future for Andhra Pradesh.
