Director of Survey, Settlement and Land Records, Dr N. Prabhakar Reddy, has established a dedicated helpline number (8143679222) to address queries related to the ongoing re-survey process.
The helpline is available on working days between 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM to ensure transparency and public satisfaction. Both landowners and revenue or survey officials can use this service for clarifications. Following Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s directions, re-surveys are being conducted in the presence of landowners to make sure it’s accurate. Landowners will have three opportunities to visit the site and mark boundaries. If they are unavailable, the process will be completed through video calls.
A pilot project was launched in selected villages on January 20, with a dedicated communication team to keep landowners informed. Villages are divided into blocks of 200-250 acres, each assigned with two surveyors, a VRO, and a VRA. To facilitate communication, WhatsApp groups based on survey numbers will be created for landowners, providing updates on re-survey activities. Survey teams must visit the land, and photos from landowner interactions must be uploaded online.
The government has also provided an option for appeals regarding boundary disputes. Following the pilot project outcomes, re-surveys will expand to other areas.
The goal is to complete surveys of 20 acres per day in each selected village within 15 days.
Dr Prabhakar Reddy emphasized the government’s focus on achieving complete satisfaction for landowners and willingness to extend timelines if necessary to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
