Industries Minister KT Rama Rao said that the Assembly election is a fight between Telangana’s self-respect and Delhi slaves. He said the BJP and the Congress have to go to New Delhi for everything but KCR decides everything here.
He was speaking after Vuppala Venkatesh joined the BRS from the Kalwakurthy constituency at the Telangana Bhavan on Saturday.
He said that Palamuru will be turned into Konaseema permanently as reservoirs will be filled in the next 45 to 50 days and that the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project will be completed by the BRS government.
Stating that Kalwakurthy had once rejected NTR, KTR said, “The people of Palamuru are very intelligent. Think and decide.”
He told party ranks that whoever gets the party ticket everyone should work together. He said that Revanth Reddy thinks that the TPCC president’s post is like the American President’s post and that the Congress has hardly 40 candidates.“Opposition parties are giving false promises. They say they will give Rs 4,000 as pension and 25 hours of electricity a day. Why didn’t you give it all these years? BJP leaders say they will continue KCR’s schemes. Then why should the people bring the BJP to power,” KTR said.
“Our motto is to increase wealth and distribute it to the poor. But the way of the opposition is to increase wealth and make it their own. Ironically, Revanth Reddy who was caught in the cash-for-vote case with bags of money is now speaking about virtues,” he said.
He said that the one who said he will send KCR to jail is now in shed and called upon party workers to ensure that the BRS wins 14 seats in Mahbubnagar.
