The movie Nata Ratnalu, directed by Shivanagu stars Sudarshan, Rangasthalam Mahesh, and Thagubothu Ramesh in the lead roles. Inaya Sultana is the heroine. This film is being made as a murder mystery crime thriller and is being produced by Dr. Divya and Supreme Babu under the banner of Everest Entertainments.
The film’s pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Former TDP MLA Yerapathineni Srinivasa Rao, who was present as the chief guest, Divyavani, Dr. Padma, Chikoti Praveen, and others participated in this programme. Yerapatineni Srinivasa Rao said, “In the past, I have been to some audio functions. Over 100,000 people attended the Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyurau film ceremony held in Kurnool. But I didn’t like that movie. I like films like Samara Simha Reddy, Narasimhanaidu, and Mirchi. My best wishes to the film team. I said that my biopic should come after the elections and not before. He said that the film will have a budget in the range of Baahubali.”
Director Shivanagu said, “Many who come to the film industry face difficulties. I am the one who crossed them all. This is a movie with such a theme. Good success. I took 14 pictures. No film has caused any loss to my producers. They help me a lot. Lately, no one has contributed to small film functions. I have invited a hero with whom I have done three films in the past to this ceremony. If you call the person, you are told to speak to an assistant. After ten days, his make-up man picked up the phone and said, ‘He will come to the audio function if you pay him two lakhs’. Does that mean two lakhs should be given for the audio release? Any hero is made by the director. I felt sad after seeing this behaviour. The industry is in such a wretched condition.”
