Amidst the probe into the Delhi liquor scam in which AAP’s Delhi leaders and Telangana leaders are involved, now all eyes are on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is also the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) convener, to see whether he will attend the BRS’ first public meeting being held at Khammam on January 18 or not. Kejriwal’s participation is still facing a dilemma as AAP leaders are clueless about it.

According to sources, the AAP’s Telangana wing did not receive any communiqué from the AAP’s head office in New Delhi. In fact, it is learnt that the AAP head office is also clueless about the participation of Kejriwal in the BRS’ Khammam meeting.

However, BRS Chief Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhaghavanth Mann, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will attend the first meeting of the BRS. It is learnt that Pinarayi Vijayan has confirmed his participation in the BRS meeting.

It is learnt that Telangana AAP leaders enquired with the AAP’s head office in New Delhi to find out whether their national convener Arvind Kejriwal is attending the Khammam meeting or not.

The reply from the AAP’s head office to Telangana leaders is that the office is not aware of it. The leaders responsible in the AAP’s head office told their Telangana leaders that they did not have any information about the BRS’ Khammam meeting.

One Telangana AAP leader told ‘The Pioneer’ on condition of anonymity that even Telangana AAP affairs in-charge Somnath Bharati has no information on whether Arvind Kejriwal will participate in the BRS’ Khammam meeting or not.

In fact, Somnath Bharati told Telangana AAP leaders that the AAP head office has no information and he doesn’t know whether the Delhi CMO has been dealing with it or not. Even Somnath Bharati has no information from the CMO as the BRS’ Khammam meeting is five days away.

Meanwhile, Telangana AAP leaders are continuing their tirade against the BRS government in Telangana and Chief Minister KCR. Telangana AAP leaders questioned the BRS government before the appointment of Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari and about the distribution of rations to the poor and about the victims of the Godavari floods.
