Aakash Puri: My dad reviews all my movie scripts

Young actor Akash Puri has added another feather to his cap by becoming the brand ambassador for the RC Trendsetters clothing brand.
Speaking of his filmy career, he said he is being extra cautious about his upcoming films, as his last film did not perform well at the box office. “I’m considering a love story and an action movie and will share details once everything is finalised. I aim to choose films that will be appreciated by kids, families, and youth alike.”
He also shared that his father thinks it’s not the right time for him to act under the direction of Puri Jagannath (his father). He confessed that he wants to be directed by his father, but he would do it only after he made a name for himself as a hero. “My dad reviews my scripts,” confessed the young lad.
Meanwhile, elated about becoming the brand ambassador, the actor shared what made him come aboard: “Ramesh and Roman approached me to become the brand ambassador for RC Trend Setters. I was initially unsure if it was the right fit for me since I usually dress very casually. They introduced me to various men’s wear brands, but after understanding their vision and goals in the clothing industry, I decided to become the brand ambassador. I’m thrilled that this is my first branding endorsement.” Discussions are ongoing about him becoming an ambassador for other brands as well.
