CEO of Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust, Dr. G. Lakshmisha, announced on Friday that all network hospital managements are fully cooperating to ensure uninterrupted services for Aarogyasri beneficiaries. He emphasised that the Aarogyasri scheme is not only facilitating timely treatment in Andhra Pradesh but also in neighbouring states.
Dr Lakshmisha reported that during the financial year 2023-24, a total of Rs 3,566.22 crore was disbursed to network hospitals by the Aarogyasri Trust. Additionally, in the first two months of the financial year 2024-25, Rs 366 crore have already been deposited into the accounts of network hospitals.

Last year saw an average of 5349 beneficiaries per day availing services under the Aarogyasri scheme across the state.
Providing further details, the CEO noted that over the past two days, May 22 and May 23, a substantial number of beneficiaries received treatment. On May 22, 6718 beneficiaries were treated, and on May 23, 7118 beneficiaries received care. Dr Lakshmisha assured that Aarogyasri ensures prompt and hassle-free treatment, readily accessible in recognised hospitals across Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring states.
