ABVP stages protest against lack of facilities in govt schools

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Nalgonda unit at a protest at the District Education Office here on Monday to highlight that the government failed to provide basic facilities in government schools. There is a deficit of teachers in some schools, it said.
Speaking on the occasion, ABVP Nalgonda district unit convener Saavula said that it was unfortunate that even 20 days after opening of schools, basic facilities were not provided to students. Apart from it, shortage of teaches in some schools has been impacting students, he said.
He alleged that some private schools were opened without taking permission from the government. Private school managements are flying buses to transport children though the vehicles were not granted fitness certificate.  The ABVP threatened to intensify agitation if the government failed to respond and provide infrastructure in schools.
