Ramya Raghupathi, the wife of actor Naresh Vijaya Krishna, has approached the court seeking to block the release of the film Malli Pelli, scheduled to hit the screens on May 26. A petition was filed in the Kukatpally family court in Hyderabad, where Ramya Raghupathi stated that certain scenes in the movie were demeaning to her.
Meanwhile, Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh, the lead actors of the movie, have confirmed their relationship and plans to get married soon, which has stirred much controversy.
It may be mentioned here that Naresh and Ramya Raghupathi have allegedly had conflicts of interest, while Naresh’s alleged closeness to Pavitra Lokesh has also been a subject of discussion.
In light of these events, Naresh’s announcement of the film ‘Malli Pelli’ came as a surprise to many. Several people believed that the movie would be based on the events that unfolded in his personal life. The recently released teasers and trailers seemed to support this notion.
On the other hand, Actor Naresh on Twitter said, “All legal issues cleared for Malli Pelli. Gearing up for a grand release in theatres tomorrow! My heartfelt thanks to all the media, my well-wishers & friends for their continuous support throughout this journey.”
