Akhil Akkineni is shooting silently

Akhil Akkineni, after the debacle of ‘Agent’ that was released in 2023, is now silently shooting his upcoming film, according to a source. Though the makers didn’t reveal anything about the film, it is directed by Murali Kishore Abburu of ‘Vinaro Bhagyam Vishnu Katha’ fame. The source revealed that the team has completed its first schedule recently in Tirupati.
Initially, the makers roped in Krithi Shetty as the female lead, but later they changed her with Sreeleela. The director shot some important scenes that involved Akhil and Sreeleela in Tirupati and returned to Hyderabad, says the source. Akhil decided not to make any hungama about the shooting of his upcoming film as he wanted to announce all the details once the shoot is completed, added the source.
There are also reports that Bollywood actor Pratik Gandhi is appearing in a negative role in this film. Though the makers have not yet decided whether the film will be released in other languages, they are concentrating only in Telugu at present.
