The eyes of the entire nation are now on Gajwel and Kamareddy as Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is contesting from both these constituencies.
KCR is contesting from his Gajwel constituency from where he has won twice and from Kamareddy this time.
The BJP has fielded its senior leader Eatala Rajender against KCR in Gajwel and the Congress has fielded TPCC President Revanth Reddy against KCR in Kamareddy.
Eatala Rajender is contesting from his regular constituency Huzurabad apart from Gajwel and Revanth Reddy is contesting from his regular constituency Kodanal in addition to Kamareddy.
If Eatala Rajender and Revanth Reddy defeat KCR in Gajwel and Kamareddy respectively then they will become giant killers. If not, KCR would celebrate his victory on a grand note by winning in two constituencies. KCR would limit his celebrations to a single constituency if he wins Gajwel or Kamareddy.
The same applies to Eatala Rajender and Revanth Reddy as the BRS has made all-out efforts to defeat both Revanth and Eatala in their regular constituencies, Kodanal and Huzurabad.
Revanth lost last time to Patnam Narender Reddy. However, Eatala has no history of losing elections and is confident of winning Huzurabad and Gajwel. Interestingly, both Eatala Rajender and Revanth Reddy have dreams of becoming the CM if their parties win elections.
One has to wait till Sunday to find out whether the people would give an opportunity to Eatala Rajender and Revanth Reddy to become giant killers as counting will start at 8 am on that day.
