With the countdown to the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the State nearing its final leg, political outfits are intensifying their efforts to secure victory at the polls. On Friday, the opposition coalition comprising TDP/BJP/JSP convened at TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s Undavalli residence for an extensive deliberation on diverse electoral strategies and pertinent issues. The gathering, extending over two hours, saw the participation of JSP chief Pawan Kalyan, BJP AP president D Purandeswari, BJP AP Incharge Siddharth Nath Singh, and BJP national general secretary Arun Singh.
Sources indicate that the leaders delved into crucial matters such as orchestrating joint campaigns across the State, seat adjustments, and crafting a unified manifesto. A decision was reached to chart out a roadmap for joint campaigning and public engagements in the lead-up to the elections.

With the poll fervour mounting, the NDA alliance has also lined up several prominent figures as star campaigners.
The meeting saw consensus on conducting special sessions from the grassroots to parliamentary levels to streamline coordination among the three parties during the elections. Additionally, plans were outlined to establish a state-level committee tasked with overseeing campaign affairs and devising strategies. Discussions also revolved around tactics to ensure effective vote transfer at the grassroots level. Attendees expressed optimism about the synergy exhibited by alliance leaders across various domains, deeming it a positive development. Sources indicate that the recent alliance gatherings in the Godavari districts have been met with resounding success, buoying activists’ morale.

Looking ahead, NDA leaders have resolved to convene similar joint campaign meetings in as many constituencies as feasible. They are committed to combatting instances of governmental power misuse by promptly reporting them to the Election Commission and advocating for necessary actions. Plans are underway to ensure strict adherence to the election code through continuous dialogue with the Election Commission, promptly addressing any concerns that arise.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the participation of BJP national figures such as Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the State’s election campaign on behalf of the alliance. Leaders affirm that the alliance has garnered public support, dismissing propaganda by the ruling YSRCP. Setting ambitious targets, the coalition aims to secure 25 parliamentary seats and over 160 assembly seats through vigorous campaigning and strategic planning.
