AM Rathnam requests ticket price hike for Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu

Must read

Producer AM Rathnam recently met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to request a ticket price hike for his upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu. The film stars Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in the lead role and is set to release on June 12.

The film, which took nearly 4–5 years to complete due to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments, is nearing its theatrical debut. Recently, the theatre bandh issue became a major topic, reportedly angering the Deputy CM as it coincided with his film’s release window.

Earlier, producers would directly meet government officials or the CM to seek ticket price revisions. However, following new developments, Pawan Kalyan advised that such requests be routed officially through the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC).

Following this, AM Rathnam met TFCC President Bharat Bhushan at the Chamber office and submitted an official request for ticket price revision and special show approvals in Andhra Pradesh.

This action was taken in line with Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s guidance to follow the appropriate protocol via the Chamber. TFCC will now approach the Andhra Pradesh government to pursue the request.
