India’s drone industry is on a trajectory of remarkable growth, with projections indicating that the sector will expand from $19.3 billion in 2019 to approximately $45.8 billion by 2025. This rapid rise positions India to become the third-largest drone market globally within the next year.
The State government’s commitment to advancing drone technology will be showcased at the upcoming Amaravati Drone Summit 2024, set to take place on October 22 and 23. The summit will serve as a national platform, attracting hundreds of experts from around the world. It aims to explore the potential of drones in a wide array of sectors while fostering innovation and investment. Up to 400 representatives from universities and research institutions will attend, adding to the momentum of drone development in the region.
