‘Animal will show what real violence is,’ hints Sandeep Vanga

Must read

Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, delves into a complex father-son relationship amidst a backdrop of extreme bloodshed in the underworld. At its core, it’s a bizarre love story between a son who is deeply devoted to his father.

However, the father’s frequent absences due to work prevent him from grasping the extent of his son’s affection. Paradoxically, this ardent love becomes a source of conflict between them. Ranbir Kapoor, who stars in the movie, has described it as a departure from his usual roles, calling it a crime drama with shades of gray. He admitted that the role challenged him and forced him to elevate his acting skills, pushing him beyond his comfort zone.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga has always maintained that it is going to be one of the most violent films to be ever made in India. When people questioned him why he showed so much violence in Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh, he answered that he would show what real violence is with his film Animal.

The story sounds very interesting, and it would be pretty exciting to see how Vanga will execute it. It is pretty clear that he is a crazy director, but no one knows how his thinking process works beyond the Arjun Reddy universe, which makes Animal a film to watch out for! With Animal set for release on December 1, the filmmakers are actively building excitement. They recently revealed character posters, including Anil Kapoor’s, and shared a first look at Rashmika Mandanna’s role, intensifying the anticipation for this unique exploration of love, violence, and family dynamics.
