Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he is committed to the development of Telangana and that the Centre will set up another NTPC unit in TS very soon. He was addressing the Induru Jana Garjana public meeting on Tuesday at Nizamabad. He said that many development programmes have been undertaken in Telangana.
“We are building hospitals and railway lines in Telangana. Through NTPC, 4,000 MW more will be available in the state. The NTPC power plant will bring a lot of change in Telangana. The Peddapalli NTPC power plant was completed fast. Most of the electricity generated from the NTPC plant will be allotted to Telangana. The foundation stone of the NTPC plant was laid by me.
I started it. This is the proof of our guarantees. This is our culture. We will support Telangana,” the PM said. Modi said that the BJP government has undertaken many welfare programmes for TS. He said that the BJP government is not only laying foundation stones but also completing projects on time.
“We are working hard to meet the electricity needs of Telangana. Soon Indian Railways will be 100 per cent electrified.This is our work culture. The Bibi Nagar AIIMS is being completed quickly,” he said.
Prime Minister Modi laid foundation stones and inaugurated many development projects costing Rs 8,000 crore virtually. The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for 20 critical care blocks in Telangana. Modi dedicated the super thermal power plant to the nation and inaugurated the Manoharabad–Siddipet railway line and the Siddipet–Secunderabad train.
