In all, 2,000 students participated in the rally. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that it is totally wiped out. It is a major task which can be achieved through the cooperation of the enforcement authorities and the society. Getting addicted to drugs is a disease which will affect the society at large.”
Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Kothkota Srinivas Reddy said, “Consumption of cigarettes and alcohol are harmful to individuals as it may create financial problems to their family, but consumption of drugs leads to destroying young people’s future.”
A few traitors are involved in the society with an intent to destroy the future of the youth. Police can control law & order, crime, traffic easily, but police can’t control spreading of drugs alone. It can be possible only with the help and support of the people.”
