Anupam Kher begins shooting for The Indian House

Veteran actor Anupam Kher has kicked off the shoot of the highly anticipated movie The India House, marking his 542nd film.
On the official Instagram handle, production house Abhishek Agarwal Arts treated fans to Anupam Kher’s video.
The BTS clip shows Anupam Kher getting into a vanity van to get into an avatar in which he is completely unrecognisable. It also features a close-up of Kher’s face. Sharing the video, he wrote, “The ‘Timeless Titan of Indian Cinema’ @anupampkher Ji begins shooting for #TheIndiaHouse. The National Award-winning actor plays a powerful and key role in the period drama.”
Anupam Kher also shared the video from the film’s set on his X handle.
He wrote, “Announcement: Delighted to announce my 542nd film, #TheIndiaHouse, a pan India period drama!!” He further went on to thank the makers including producer Ram Charan, actor  Nikhil Siddhartha, producer Abhishek Agarwal and director Ram Vamsi Krishna. Sharing the experience, Anupam Kher stated, “Abhishek Agarwal believes that I am his lucky mascot. I believe it too. But he is also a wonderful producer to work with. She is understanding, affectionate and has a great sense of creativity. I hope The India House turns out to be another blockbuster like The Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2. Jai Ho!” Anupam Kher will play the character of Shyamji Krishna Varma. The film set against the backdrop of India’s struggle for independence, The India House, is expected to offer a riveting story filled with emotion, sacrifice, and patriotism. Speaking of The India House, the pan-Indian historical drama will star Nikhil Siddhartha (Karthikeya 2 fame) in the lead role, with Anupam Kher portraying the prominent character. Directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, the film is being produced by Abhishek Agarwal and Vikram Reddy under the banner of Abhishek Agarwal arts and V Mega Pictures. The film, presented by RRR star Ram Charan, is slated for a mega release in 2025.
