The Andhra Pradesh government suspended AP employees’ union leader, KR Suryanarayana, on Tuesday.
The suspension order was issued pending the completion of an inquiry against him, as stated by reliable sources.
During the suspension period Suryanarayana has been directed not to leave the city without prior permission of the government.
In response to the suspension, Suryanarayana approached the AP High Court seeking anticipatory bail. The government had filed a case against him along with Mehar Kumar, Sandya, Venkata Chalapati, and Satyanarayana, with the Patamata police registering the case. Suryanarayana’s plea for anticipatory bail was admitted by the High Court, and further developments are awaited in this case.
