Government General Hospital Superintendent Dr. Bhagavan Naik said that the AP Jeevandan team visited the GGH here on Thursday and expressed satisfaction at the facilities available here.
A Jeevandan team comprising Guntur medical college principal Dr.Uma Jyothi, Professor and HoD Dr.KP Polaiah and HoD of Neurosurgery Dr. KVV Satyanarayana Murthy visited the Ongole GGH.
The team saw the facilities available in the operation theatre complex here. The team suggested that a committee be formed to certify the patient as brain dead, Dr.Bhagavan Naik said.
The team discussed with the Ongole medical college principal Dr Sudhakar Babu various issues. Dr.Bhagavan Naik said that 40 persons have applied for organ donations during the week. Nodal officer Dr.E Jayasundaram, deputy superintendent Dr.Balaji Naik, and CSRMO Dr.Chaitanya were among those who were present.
