‘AP people are more aware of schemes’

Expressing satisfaction with the arrangements made to organise the Vikasit Sankalpa Bharat Yatra in the district, Union Cultural Department Joint Secretary Uma Nanduri said that the people of Andhra Pradesh have more awareness of the welfare schemes being implemented by the governments than the people of other states.
Uma Nanduri participated as a chief guest at a programme held in the village panchayat office at Bhimadole on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion she said that the people of AP have more awareness about welfare schemes than in other states. The main purpose of conducting the Viksit Bharat Sankalpa Yatra is to create more awareness among the people about the various welfare schemes being implemented by the Central Government. She said that those who have not benefited from the schemes should be identified and made to get the welfare scheme benefits.
