Heavy to very heavy with extremely heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on July 26, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next four days.
Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next three days. Strong winds with speed reaching 30-40 Kmph is likely at Isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next four days and in Rayalaseema during the next three days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places or at many places or at most places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Very heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places of Alluri Sitaramaraju Districtof North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Heavy Rainfall occurred at many places of Krishna District of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at one or two places over Parvathipuram Manyam district of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours.
Rainfall occurred at most places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, at many places in Rayalaseema and at one or two places over Yanam during the same period. Southwest monsoon has been active in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and normal in Rayalaseema, the report added.
