Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said that teaching profession is not only a job but closely attached to an emotion. The CM said that the unemployment problem played a key role during the Telangana movement and the objective of the struggle for separate State is for job recruitment.
The Chief Minister made it clear that the job recruitment is a continuous process in his government. He released the DSC-2024 results at the State Secretariat on Monday. The CM said that the KCR government conducted a single DSC exam and filled only 7,857 posts during the 10-year rule. The people’s government conducted DSC to fill 11,062 posts within 10 months of coming to power.
The certificate verification will be carried out in a 1:3 ratio for each post. The appointment letters will be given to the selected candidates at LB stadium on October 9 and fill their homes with festive atmosphere even before the beginning of the Dussehra festivities, the CM declared. He said that the unemployed youth requested to conduct the TET after the DSC notification was issued. Considering their plea, the government conducted TET and helped 1,09,168 job aspirants to get eligibility for DSC exam.
The Computer Based Test (CBT) has been conducted in 26 sessions from July 18 to August 5 for the DSC written exam. CM Revanth Reddy said that the government decided to establish integrated residential schools, aiming to provide quality education to poor students in 100 Assembly constituencies in the State.
He criticised that the previous governments established SC, ST, BC and minority institutions separately which created a sense of inferiority among the children. The integrated residential school will be set up in a sprawling 20 to 25 acres in each constituency at the cost of Rs 100 crore.
The Congress government proved its commitment to giving priority to education by issuing DSC notification within two months of coming to power in the State, the Chief Minister said.
