Harish asks Rahul to stop TG Congress’s bulldozer tactics

Must read

Former Minister and Siddipet MLA, Harish Rao, has strongly criticized the Telangana Congress government for its use of what he described as “bulldozer tactics,” likening its actions to those of the BJP in other states. In an open letter addressed to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Harish expressed his concern over the ongoing Musi Riverfront and HYDRA projects and accused the state government of trampling on civil rights.
In his letter, Harish claimed that the Telangana Congress, under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has been using the bulldozer as a symbol of “unbridled power” and is targeting poor, middle-class families.
He said that the homes of families living in the affected areas for decades, with all legal documentation, are being demolished without proper surveys or adherence to procedural guidelines. He compared the Congress government’s actions to those of BJP-led governments in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and other states, stating that bulldozers, originally meant for infrastructure development, are now being misused to instil fear.
Harish pointed out that despite a recent Supreme Court verdict, the state government continues to follow these tactics.
Referencing today’s High Court observations on the Musi Riverfront and HYDRA issues, Harish emphasized that these projects have exposed the anti-constitutional actions of the Telangana Congress, adding that the bulldozer policy has become synonymous with the government’s cruelty.
The MLA urged Rahul Gandhi to intervene and advise Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to uphold the rule of law and follow the principles of natural justice enshrined in the Constitution. Harish concluded by calling for a governance model rooted in humanity and justice rather than one that relies on arbitrary power.
