BRS MLA from Tandur Pilot Rohit Reddy has approached the High Court on Tuesday challenging the Enforcement Directorate (ED) probe of Moinabad farmhouse BRS MLAs poaching case. Rohit Reddy filed a writ petition in the High Court on the same making the Central Finance Department, ED, ED Deputy Director and ED Assistant Director as respondents. Rohit Reddy also urged the Court to give interim orders granting stay on the ED’s investigation till the hearing ended.

Rohit Reddy mentioned in his petition that the ED has been troubling him in regard to MLAs poaching case. He alleged in his petition that the ED has been grilling him on his personal details and the details of the family members in the money laundering case. Rohit Reddy mentioned in his petition that the ED has been harassing him by serving notices under money laundering and urged the Court to dismiss the ED’s ECIR. He made it clear that there is no link with the MLAs poaching case and money laundering case.

While speaking to the media on the occasion, Rohit Reddy said that the ED officials have been questioning him during the investigation based on the WhatsApp messages of the investigative officer. However, the same officials are not recording the details told by him, Rohit Reddy said. He said that the ED has been questioning Nanda Kumar in connection with the case filed by the Banjara Hills police station. In the petition, Pilot Rohit Reddy has expressed concern that there is a conspiracy going on to implicate him based on false statements from Nanda Kumar.
