Contradicting AIMIM Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi’s statement in the Assembly on August 6 that their party will be with the ruling BRS in future too, Akbaruddin’s brother, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, said that the AIMIM has not yet taken a final decision on alliances in Telangana.
Speaking to the media at New Delhi on Monday, Asaduddin said that he will participate in the debate on the no-trust motion against the BJP in the Lok Sabha along with BRS Members. He said that governments are not implementing the 42 per cent reservations for OBCs although they constituted 52 per cent of the population.
