Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has to fight two women candidates in the 2024 LS polls. Already the BJP has announced its Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency candidate Madhavi Latha, and she is campaigning in the Old City posing a challenge to Asaduddin Owaisi.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Congress is giving the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat to a woman named Shahnaz Tabassum, an SC Advocate.
Shahnaz is the founder and President of the All India Azad Congress Party. She will lock horns with AIMIM supremo Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP’s Kompella Madhavi Latha. However, the Congress has not yet announced Shahnaz’s name officially.
