The prestigious Best Multi-Specialty Hospital Award was conferred to Manipal Hospital Vijayawada at the second Healthcare Summit and Awards-2023 held in New Delhi, on Innovation and Sustainable Solutions.
The Association of Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), the country’s oldest apex chamber, hosted the event and gave away the award to Dr Sudhakar Kantipudi, Hospital Director, along with Ramanjaneya Reddy (HOD, Finance), Sridevi G (HOD Billing) and Sriram Chakravarty (HOD Marketing) of Manipal Hospital, Vijayawada.
The event was organised with the objective to improve the healthcare sector in India through innovation and sustainable development. Manipal Hospital, Vijayawada, has secured a place in the top three under the category of Best Multi-Speciality Hospital.
Speaking after receiving the award, Dr Sudhakar Kantipudi said: “It is a matter of great pride to be recognised by the ASSOCHAM’s prestigious event. The award is a recognition of the tireless service and efforts of our consultants, and hospital staff who have always been the life saviors of the patients in times of urgency and need.”
Dr Vandana Talwar, Medical Superintendent, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, Dr Aashish Chaudhry, Co- chairperson, ASSOCHAM, (Padma Shri) Prof (Dr.) DS Rana, Chairperson, ASSOCHAM National Healthcare, Pushpa Vijayaraghavan, Director – Healthcare and Life Science Management Consultants, and other dignitaries were present at the event.
